OLIVER
Oliver is a vampire elder and Amelie’s second in command. They both have differing views, and are ‘frenemies’. However, when faced with a dire situation, they both work extremely well together. 'Oliver is very proud, arrogant and cold and is described appropriately as the 'Don of the local Morganville mafia'. To all unsuspecting humans, he pretends to be a friendly hippie running the local coffee shop, Common Grounds. He was responsible for turning Michael into a ghost, which led to all of the Glass House members detesting him immensely. Throughout the series, though, Claire and Eve have warmed to him somewhat, and him to them, despite the fact he pretends to be uncaring towards everybody. It is also revealed later on in the series that he may have feelings towards Amelie.
Oliver’s character is based on Oliver Cromwell.
